Marabou Restaurant - Afissos, Pelion Greece
The delightful "Marabou Restaurant" in the coastal resort of Afissos in Pelion, is one of the most popular restaurants in the village. Here you can enjoy a wonderful selection of freshly prepared meals throughout the year, as the restaurant is open all year round.
At the heat of the kitchen is Mrs Katie, who prepares and oversees all of the meals and cusine that is available at the Marabou Restaurant.
All of the cuisine is prepared with great care and attention to detail. All of the ingredients are of the highest quality, and many are provided by local producers.
During the summer months, you can enjoy your meal outside in our beautiful garden area where you can enjoy some wonderful views of the sea, as well as some magical sunsets.
In the winter, you can take a seat inside our cosy hall, and enjoy your meals in a very warm and comfortable atmosphere.
The "Marabou Restaurant" is famous in the area for the very tasty home cooked foods and the unique pies that are made here. We also serve a wonderful variety of sea food, freshly caught from the waters of the Pagasitic Gulf and the Aegean sea.
At our restaurant, you can also enjoy a sample of very traditional dishes from Pelion. These very tasty dishes are unique to our restaurant, and have been prepared by Mrs Katie using recipes passed down through the generations.
To compliment our meals, we have a great selection of homemade wine, as well as a rich cellar of some of the finest wines in Greece.
